Proceedings for 2017 KWHSS

Proceedings for the
Known World Heraldic & Scribal Symposium

June 23 - 25, 2017 - Shire of Nant Y Derwyddon, Meridies
Knoxville, Tenessee

From Adelaide Colette de Monferrer, 2017 Proceedings Coordinator:

Continuing the online publication of the Proceedings this year was essential to me. With online publication, there is no issue about an article's length being too long or too short and there is no concern over how many color images or pages there are, as the cost of printing for distribution is negated. Doing this allows for more quality articles, and does not limit the researcher on their presentation. This year, I used the same categories as used in 2013, but with the addition of a new category: Ambiance. This is to include any information that adds to the mood, character, quality, tone, and atmosphere of an event.

We will be adding more handouts from the classes taught at Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium at a later date, so keep an eye out for them.

I would like to thank all the authors of these articles and the teachers, as without you sharing your gleaned knowledge we will not know more tomorrow than we did yesterday.
