IMPERIAL MARSHAL

My Lord Marshal:

Since, at the final tallying, Heralds and Marshals come under the same ultimate authority;

and since the primary problem in the Society to date has been communication, both between Kingdoms and Kingdoms, Kingdoms and the Imperial Government, and Offices between Office;

I therefore charge you to immediately implement the following:

1. a representative of the Kingdom Marshalate shall attend the meetings of his Kingdom's College of Heralds, in each Kingdom. where it may apply, this shall also apply in Baronies, Principalities, &c. *
If the Kingdom calls no College meetings, then the Earl Marshall and the Lord/Lady Herald shall make other arrangements for the exchange of information and such. These arrangements, whatever they may be, shall be on a regularly scheduled basis.

2. The various Kingdom Marshalates shall being holding regular meetings, to discuss such aspects of their jobs as may be pertinent, and to educate each other that they may fulfill their functions. A herald from their Kingdom College shall be present at such meetings. *
Such meetings will also keep Minutes of their proceedings, which shall be distributed to:

a) The Laurel King of Arms
b) The Imperial Marshall
c) all Marshall in the Kingdom concerned
d) The Kingdom Herald
f) all Earl Marshals
f) The Kingdom Seneschal
The date, place and time of such meetings of the Kingdom College of Marshals shall be published in each Kingdom Newsletter, and the populace shall be invited, unless topics are to be discussed that it would be impolitic to have as subjects of general knowledge. . . and all belted fighters shall have the right, nay, the duty, of also attending such meetings.

*he shall, of course, keep the Irreverent Remarks made at the meeting utterly to himself.
