RE: CORPORATE ARMS USED BY ALL BRANCHES OF THE SOCIETY

Your Serenities:

There seems to be a problem cropping up that must be solved quickly, to wit:

There are corporate arms registered for the following listed Imperial Offices, which are also used by their subordinates on a Kingdom level:

a) The College of Arms
Vert, two straight Trumpets in saltire, bell in chief Or.
b) The Steward
Gules, a key Or.
c) The Mistress of Arts
Purpure, an Irish Harp Or.
d) The Imperial Marshall
Sable, two swords in saltire proper.
e) The Master of Science
Per fess Or and argent, a set of Calipers sable.
f) The Imperial Registry
Vert, three Billets argent, winged Or.
g) Medics (attached to Marshals)
Argent, a Staff of Aesalepios gules.
h) Chancery: Azure, a fasces, blade to sinister Or.

However, there seems to be no official statement on the arms of:
a) The Imperial Treasurer
b) The Imperial Chronicler

This problem can be solved rather easily by simply stating that those Arms currently registered to the Exchequer of the West be officially adopted Imperiumwide, and, further, it seems to me that the Registry's Arms would do well as Chronicler's also, since they are, pretty much, the same Office (tho the Chronicler would be the Registrar's superior, I would think.) However, in view of the precedent set by the differing Arms for both Heralds and Marshals, even tho they are both set beneath the Laurel King of Arms, I should think that the Registry, as a semi-autonomous Office under the Chronicler, could have separate Arms form the Chronicler. Separate arms for Kingdom offices only add to the confusion.

Please advise me on this as soon as possible.

I remain:
