To: The Members of the College of Arms

From: Master Wilhelm von Schlussel, Laurel King of Arms

Greetings:

There is an error in the Guide to Heraldic Submissions I just sent you. On page 6, section IX, next to last line, it says: SCA devices and arms must have one major point of difference from mundane arms. This should have said one major and one minor point of difference from mundane arms. There has been no change of policy. I enclose a corrected sixth page to the Guide. Please replace the old page with this new page and destroy the old page.
On page 6 of the Acceptances and Rejections, under REJECTIONS, Kingdom of Atenveldt, Aneirin ap Corwyn Oar Ynis Witrin, there is the statement: Charles should not surmount flaunches. This should -read: Charges should not surmount flaunches. (Sorry about that, Baron Charles.)
On the subject of errors, if any of you find any more mistakes or items that might be mistakes please let me know immediately. (Brachet pointed out the above errors.) Mistakes do occur and if not corrected can lead to confusion. Pray believe, my Lords and my Ladies, that I remain

Your servant,

Master Wilhelm von Schlussel
Laurel King of Arms
