Unto the members of the College of Arms does Da'ud ibn Auda, Laurel King of Arms send Greetings!;

My Lords and Ladies,

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns.

Corrections to the February 1991 LoAR

MIDDLE

Alan Járnhauss inn Hárlangi. Name.

Laurel missed the correction sent out by Lord Dragon correcting the grammar to the byname (from Hárlangri).

Bronwen D'Arcy of Stratafon. Name.
Sorry, Laurel really didn't intend to register it as "Brownwen".

Margaret Malise de Kyrkyntolaghe. Name.
Proving once again that Laurel's left hand doesn't know what his right hand is doing, this had been misspelled as Kyrkyntolaghe on the LoAR.

Corrections to the January 1991 LoAR

ANSTEORRA

Gwydion ap Dafydd. Name.

Though spelled "ap Daffyd" in the LoI, the forms have the correct Welsh form of the name.

CAID

Diana Ausonia de Nápoli. Name.

A typo on the LoAR made the middle name into Ausonis.

Taran Blackwolf of Darkwood. Device. Sable, a wolf's head erased affronty between mullets in annulo, and a bordure argent charged with leaves vert.
The LoAR called it a bodure (whatever that is!).

Thomas Ian Kelson of Greyholt. Name.
The LoAR made the placename Greyhold.

MIDDLE

Thorgeirr inn vikverski Karlsson. Name.

The article here should be the masculine inn, not the feminine in.

Garth Brandon. Name.
The name was listed in both Acceptances and Returns. The entry in Returns was in error. The name is registered.

Corrections to the December 1990 LoAR

MERIDIES

Axemoor, Barony of. Augmentation of arms. Sable, in bend sinister an axe inverted reversed and an axe both bendwise sinister, Or between two scarpes, overall a laurel wreath argent, for an augmentation, in chief three mullets argent.

The LoAR had mistakenly changed the tincture of the scarpes and laurel wreath to vert.

Corrections to the April 1990 LoAR

CAID

Steffan the Scrivener. Device. Sable, on a roundel erminois, a cat sejant affronty sable, holding in its mouth a quill argent.

The LoAR had the cat maintaining the quill in its mouth, a verb more often applied to charges held in the hand or paw.

Corrections to the March 1990 LoAR

EAST

Loric of Winteroak. Badge for Brotherhood of Saint Pyr. Per bend sable and Or, in bend sinister a goblet fesswise Or, distilling a goutte de sang, and a sandle sable.

The orientation of the goblet was misblazoned as bendwise in the LoAR.

Siegfried Wulfgang von Brandenburg. Device. Per bend sinister sable and gules, on a bend sinister raguly argent between a plate and a wolf's head erased argent, an arrow sable.
The LoAR accidentally left out the sinister-ness of the bend.

WEST

Manfred von dem Schwarzwald. Badge. Argent, on an oak tree eradicated sable a cross formy argent, all within a bordure dovetailed sable.

The LoAR mistakenly blazoned the bordure as embattled.

Stefan of Pembroke. Device. Quarterly ermine and gules, a cross crosslet fitchy counterchanged gules and argent, on a chief sable, three crosses crosslet fitchy argent.
The LoAR did not mention that the crosses on the chief were also fitchy.

Corrections to the February 1990 LoAR

CAID

Desert March, Canton of. Device. Or, two swords in saltire gules between two piles inverted purpure, overall a laurel wreath counterchanged.

The LoAR accidentally left out the tincture of the swords.

Everard de Selborne. Name.
The LoAR mistakenly changed the particle from "de" to "of".

Rouland Carre. Badge. [Fieldless] A Latin cross azure issuant from between the tines of a stag's attires gules.
The LoAR was missing the "s" in attires, thus losing the pairing of the antlers.

Corrections to the December 1989 LoAR

CAID

Gareth Marcellus of Camalodenum. Badge. Gules, a lightning bolt fesswise Or, overall a bezant.

The first charge is, of course, not a bold as the LoAR stated.

Jamal Damien Marcus. Device. Per bend azure and argent, an eagle rising to sinister, wings elevated and addorsed, Or and a Lebanon cedar proper.
The LoAR did not note the sinister orientation of the eagle.

Corrections to the November 1989 LoAR

CAID

Alexander Baird. Device. Sable, three wake knots conjoined in pall inverted throughout Or.

The LoAR did not note the inversion of the pall of knots.

Corrections to the November 1988 LoAR

WEST

College of Saint Adelheim. Device. Per bend azure and Or, in bend sinister a tower within a laruel wreath argent and three fountains in bend.

The LoAR misblazoned the field as per fess.

Corrections to the Armorial and Ordinary

Emrys Eustace Boreyne. Name.

This was accidentally registered as Emrys Eustance Boreyne, but the forms all have the above form.

Raymond de Caen. Device. Per fess argent and sable, a Maltese cross vert and a Chinese dragon's head couped close and sinister facing Or.
The blazon in Update V stops after the first charge.
