Unto the members of the College of Arms does Da'ud ibn Auda, Laurel King of Arms send Greetings!;

My Lords and Ladies,

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns.

Corrections to the April 1991 LoAR

Anderwyn na Sionain. Name and device. Gules, a squirrel sejant erect to sinister argent within an orle of acorns inverted Or.

The acorns are inverted, which was not noted in the LoAR.

Angus Montgomery the Forrester. Name and device. Per saltire azure and gules, an arrow palewise Or and overall a hound passant ermine.
The arrow is not inverted as was stated on the LoAR.

Arnolda Kolfinna O'Comhraidhe of Inis Celtra. Device. Argent, on a pale endorsed between two oak slips fructed azure, an eagle's head erased and facing sinister argent.
The blazoned "alk slipps" are, of course, "oak slips".

Dealla Cohen. Name and device. Vert, a pall inverted between two sheaves of arrows inverted and a unicorn's head couped Or.
The arrows are inverted, which was not noted in the LoAR.

Godfrey of Inwood. Device. Vert, a bat-winged mantyger sejant guardant within a bordure argent.
The tincture of the mantyger and bordure are argent, not sable as stated in the LoAR.

Serena Roese of Stonehaven. Name and device. Azure, a castle triple-towered issuant from a rock, on a chief Or, three decrescents azure.
That the castle was issuant from a rock should have been mentioned in the LoAR.

Thelic of Darktide. Device.
His former device is released with this registration.

Ysabella Celestina Manruque de Palma. Device. Per pale argent and gules, goutty, four mascles in cross, in base two bars wavy, a chief invected, all counterchanged.
The LoAR had "a base two bars wavy".

Corrections to the June 1990 LoAR

Donnan of Whispering Wude. Name.

Although listed under returns with the device, the name should have been registered.

Corrections to the May 1990 LoAR

Bryan of the Outlands. Device. Per pale azure and vert, a two-headed bear argent, statant erect affronty and brandishing in either forepaw a scimitar Or, all between in base two Latin crosses Or.

The fact that the bear is affronty was omitted from the LoAR.

Elizabeth Cameron ni Iain. Device. Azure, on a chevron througout five roses azure and in base a lion rampant tail nowed argent.
The blazon in the LoAR did not note the "throughout-ness" of the chevron by blazoning the primary and secondary as "in pale" was not as clear as it might have been.

Frederick of Zwickau. Device. Or, on a pile cotised sable, surmounted in base by two chevronels counterchanged, in chief a tau cross argent.
The LoAR listed the chevronels as barrulets.

Tsvia bas Zipporah Levi of Granada. Gules, on a pale engrailed Or between in bend sinister two roses argent seeded, a pomegranate gules.
The primary is not a pall as blazoned in the LoAR.

Corrections to the January 1990 LoAR

Michele of Colonsay. Device. Azure, a chevron, in base a natural leopard's face and on a chief Or, three hurts.

The LoAR blazoned it "Azure, a chevron between a natural leopard's face and on a chief ...."

Corrections to the November 1989 LoAR

Catharine Tancred. Badge. Per pale argent and Or, both semy of roses proper, a thistle slipped and leaved proper.

The LoAR had the field as "argent and gules", which would be problematic given the semy.

Gillian of the Swallows. Device. Per chevron Or and sable, on a chevron gules between two eagles rising respectant, wings addorsed sable, and a winged lion salient, three fleur-de-lys Or.
The LoAR accidentally omitted the tinctures of the chevron and eagles.

Corrections to the September 1989 LoAR

Kilic ibn Sungur ibn al-Kazganci al-Turhani. Device. Sable, a sheaf of five swords argent within an orle Or.

The LoAR called it a shief of arrows and accidentally turned the orle into a bordure.

Corrections to the Armorial and Ordinary

Antonia d'Alessandria. Badge. Azure, an owl close, holding in its talons a tuft of wool, pendant therefrom a drop spindle argent.

The blazoned "pendant from hangs a drop spindle" really didn't make much sense.

Arianna of Wynthrope. Device. Per saltire Or and vert, a mascle counterchanged within a bordure sable.
These are her new arms, registered April 1989.

Brid nic Shéarlais. Badge. Azure, four deer's hoofprints in cross, heels to center, argent.
This entry accidentally dropped the "é" from the patronymic.

Morgan MacLain o Loch Cairlinn.
The entry listed as Morgan MacIain o Loch Cairlinn is in error -- the "I" should be an "L".
