Unto the members of the College of Arms does Shayk Da'ud ibn Auda, Laurel King of Arms, send heartfelt Greetings!

My Lords and Ladies,

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns and the Armorial and Ordinary.

November 1994 LoAR

DRACHENWALD

Flintheath, Shire of. Device.

Though listed in the LoAR as "Name and device", the Shire's name was previously registered, and only their device was registered in November 1994.

MERIDIES

Katherine Power. Device. Sable, in pale three roses argent, barged, seeded, slipped and leaved proper, between flaunches ermine.

This was mistakenly listed under Acceptances. (Laurel is still not certain how that happened!) The submission was actually withdrawn by the submissions herald when the LoI was mailed because the name had previously been returned, and this should not even have been on the LoAR at all.

October 1994 LoAR

DRACHENWALD

Gunnar Olofsson. Device. Per saltire sable and gules, in pale two boars passant and in fess two domestic cats sejant, all within a bordure argent.

The blazon in the LoAR left out the fact that the beasts in fess were of the domestic variety, and also had typoed them into another kind of charge entirely, as casts.

September 1994 LoAR

ATENVELDT

Lilly Anna Marie des Jardins des Fleurs. Device. Quarterly wavy argent and azure, a rose counterchanged Or and azure between four fleurs-de-lys counterchanged.

The LoAR accidentally left out the number of fleurs.

ATLANTIA

Ealasaid MacDonald. Device. Azure, a chevron inverted between three crescents one and two argent.

It was suggested that while "one and two" may be the most reasonable arrangement around a chevron inverted, it is not the default, and that one and two should be specified.

OUTLANDS

Moira O'Morchoe. Name.

The given was typoed as Moria in the LoAR.

Armorial and Ordinary

Ianthe d'Averoigne. Device. Sable, on a cartouche gules fimbriated argent, a rose slipped and leaved inverted sable fimbriated argent.

For some reason, the cartouche was blazoned as purpure, though the emblazon form has it pretty clearly gules.

Katherine of Anglesey. Device.

Submitted on the LoI as Katherine of Anglesea, the name had been previously registered as Anglesey.
