Unto the members of the College of Arms does Shayk Da'ud ibn Auda, Laurel King of Arms, send heartfelt Greetings!

My Lords and Ladies,

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns and the Armorial and Ordinary.

January 1995 LoAR

AN TIR

Hákon Thórarisson. Device. Sable, on a pile Or between two lightning bolts in pile argent an eagle displayed wings inverted sable.

The blazon in the LoAR left out the word wings, and as Lion's Blood (ret.) noted, "the emblazon clearly shows that, while the wings are inverted, the eagle itself is not."

April 1994 LoAR

ANSTEORRA

Gytha ní Chomhraidhe. Device. Argent ermined azure, on a hurt a bear rampant Or maintaining a scythe argent, all within a bordure azure.

Submitted on the LoI and registered in the LoAR as Gytha O'Comhraidhe, the name was actually registered as modified above in the September 1993 LoAR.

February 1994 LoAR

ANSTEORRA

Merfyn Gareth ap Mouric. Name.

The patronym was misspelled Mourie in the LoAR.

Armorial and Ordinary

Ammaerlin de Montrose et Chardonnay. Per bend azure and gules, a bend Or, in sinister chief two horses' heads addorsed and conjoined at the neck argent.

The A&O has the tinctures of the field reversed; they are in fact azure and gules.
