Unto the members of the College of Arms does Mistress Jaelle of Armida, Laurel Queen of Arms, send heartfelt Greetings!

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns and the Armorial.

LoARS

March 1997

East

Elspeth Turnbull. Name and device. Argent ermined gules, on a chief sable three cinquefoils Or.
Blazoned as roses on the LoI, the submitter wanted cinquefoils. Since this correction was sent to the College in a timely fashion, and new forms were send to Laurel where the tertiaries were clearly cinquefoils, we are reblazoning them as such.

January 1996

Atlantia

Caitl”n Cheannl ider. Badge. [Fieldless] On a dumbek Or a fleam azure.
Spelled Caitil”n Cheannl ider on the LoAR, the name was registered as Caitl”n Cheannl ider.

Margred Pontypwl. Device. Sable, a rose argent, a bordure argent goutty-de-sang.
The LoAR failed to mention the registered device.

Outlands:

Lucas of Hinterland. Holding name and device. Per pale gules and argent, a crab counterchanged and a bordure sable.
Submitted under the name Kamitatsu Toshimoto, the name was returned and the device was pended. When the device was registered, a holding name should have been formed (it was originally registered under the name Kamitatsu Toshimoto). We have done so.

April 1997 LoAR

Meridies

Thor's Mountain, Barony of. Order name for Order of the Rams Horn The LoAR failed to specify that the order name was registered.

Middle

Sne Peregrina. Name and device.
When the name was returned, no explanation was given for the return of the device. The device was returned for a redraw of the beveling. According to the 8/92 Cover Letter, the central section of per bend (sinister) beveled should not be level, though it probably oughtn't to be bent this sharply. However, it should turn the other way, rising toward dexter chief before falling off to dexter base.

Corrections to the Armorial

Andrew Selwyn. Device. Vert, in pale two stags passant counterpassant within a bordure rayonny argent.
We have explicitly blazoned the arrangement of the stags.

Manfred Albrecht von Halsstern. Name.
His name appears spelled with both one "s" and two "s" in Halsstern on his forms and in the acceptances. His original submission was based on the registered name of Siegfried von Halsstern. Therefore, we are correcting it to the original form.

Manfred von Halsstern. Household name for Haus von Halsstern.
As with his name, we are correcting this to match his registered last name.

Roger fitzRolf Le Normand. Name change from Roger fitz-Ralph.
This was registered on the January 1996 as a new name; it was really a change.
