Unto the members of the College of Arms does Mistress Jaelle of Armida, Laurel Queen of Arms, send heartfelt Greetings!

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns and the Armorial.

LoARS

September/October 1994.

Cyra of Tir Ysgithr. Holding name and device. Azure, on a bend sinister between two wolves sejant ululant argent, three crescents azure.

The name was accidentally listed as registered on the 9/94 LoAR and corrected on the 10/94 letter of errata. The armory was pended for having no tincture listed on the LoI for the bend and the wolves, on the 9/94 LoAR and nothing was ever done to it. The submitted name was Cyra Shea O'Malley, and was returned for several reasons, including that Cyra was not a feminine form of Cyrus and for the overall construction of the name. However, one of the commenters was able to document Cyra as the name of a holy woman in Persia. While a Persian/Irish name would not be registerable, it is sufficient for using it as the first element in the holding name.

June 1997

Ansteorra

Tiernan Shepherd. Badge. Argent, a lozenge azure overall a saltire gules.

Somehow this was left off the LoAR. It was indeed registered.
