Not all letters of intent may be considered when they are originally scheduled on this cover letter. The date of mailing of the LoI, date of receipt of the Laurel packet, or other factors may delay consideration of certain letters of intent. REMINDER: Until the packet containing the paperwork is received, the letter may not be scheduled.

A New Morsulus

The deadline for applying for Morsulus has passed, and I am pleased to announce that the next Morsulus herald will be Master Herveus d'Ormonde. He will be starting in April.

KWHS 2001

I am now accepting bids for Known World Heraldic Symposium for 2001. I've enclosed an article written by Irene Schmetterling on what makes a good bid for a heraldic symposium. Any group who wishes to host the 2001 symposium should mail bids to Laurel and the other members of the College of Arms by May 15, 2000. This allows discussion of the bids before the choice is made and announced at the 2000 KWHS in Houston.

Roster Changes

Jaelle of Armida, Argent Snail (Laurel staff) is in the process of moving -- her new address is Kummelvägl 4, FIN-00830 Helsingfors, Finland. She also notes that it is not necessary to send two copies of mail to her and her husband Johan Magnusson Kivisuo (Edelweiss Herald, Drachenwald).

Dagonell Collingwood (Garnet Herald) should be listed under Æthelmearc, not Laurel staff. Eglentyne Merryweather (Aestel Herald) and Eric Ward of Winchester (Argent Scroll Herald) should be listed under An Tir, not Æthelmearc.

Owen ap Morgan is no longer Maple Leaf Herald in Artemisia. He should be removed from the mailing list and the roster.
