The July Laurel meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, July 16, and will consider the letters of intent from March.

Not all letters of intent may be considered when they are originally scheduled on this cover letter. The date of mailing of the LoI, date of receipt of the Laurel packet, or other factors may delay consideration of certain letters of intent. Additionally, some letters of intent received may not have been scheduled because the administrative requirements (receipt of the forms packet, receipt of the necessary fees, etc.) have not yet been met.

REMINDER: Until the packet containing the paperwork is received, the letter may not be scheduled.

August meeting and Pennsic

Soon I must schedule the August meeting. As in last year, the best weekend to schedule the meeting is the first weekend of Pennsic. Unlike previous Laurels I live only about an hour from Pennsic and would welcome those who are attending the event to attend the Laurel meeting as well. Last year I scheduled the meeting for the Sunday (the day after land grab), and invited anyone who would be attending Pennsic for the full two weeks to come to the meeting. I received a few comments saying that Sunday was more problematic because that is the primary day for setting up (it also meant that I was unable to help my camp set up). Therefore I am asking in general: if I held the regular Laurel meeting the first weekend of Pennsic (a) would you be interested in going and (b) which day would you prefer? Please let me know.
