REMINDER: Until all administrative requirements are met, the letter may not be scheduled. ------------------------------------------------------------ FROM LAUREL: E-Mail Distribution of LoIs and LoCs As we are more and more interconnected with electronic mail and it becomes a normal and preferred method of exchanging documents, it is only natural to set up facilities to aid in that interchange. One way to aid in the electronic dissemination of the Letters of Intent and Letters of Comment is by setting up official distribution lists. Such mailing lists give a single address to simplify sending to those who wish to get the letters via e-mail. A distribution list also allows a person wanting to receive the electronic letters to update a single location to receive the letters from many senders. The distribution list for the Letters of Intent will be open to anyone who wishes to subscribe. A wider visibility of the LoIs can be a learning tool for those interested understanding how the processing of submissions works in the CoA. Although subscription to the list will be open to anyone, the postings to the list will be moderated. The file format standard for distribution will be RTF. The LoI mailing list address is LoI@sca.org. To subscribe to the LoI list, visit the Web page http://www.sca.org/mailman/listinfo/LoI. The distribution list for the Letters of Comment will be a closed subscription list, allowing only the current members of the College of Arms to subscribe. All subscriptions and mailings to list will be moderated to ensure the traffic on this list remains on-topic. The list address is LoC@sca.org. To subscribe to the LoC mailing list, visit the Web page http://www.sca.org/mailman/listinfo/LoC. ------------------------------------------------------------ Roster Changes [snipped] ------------------------------------------------------------ Send What to Whom For all Letters of Intent, Comment, Response, Correction, et cetera, send one paper copy to each of Laurel PKoA and Wreath QoA at their mailing addresses as shown on the College of Arms Mailing List.
