For the information about future scheduling please review the status table located on the web at: http://www.sca.org/heraldry/status.html.

Not all letters of intent may be considered when they are originally scheduled on this cover letter. The date of mailing of the LoI, date of receipt of the Laurel packet, or other factors may delay consideration of certain letters of intent. Additionally, some letters of intent received may not have been scheduled because the administrative requirements (receipt of the forms packet, receipt of the necessary fees, et cetera) have not yet been met.

REMINDER: Until all administrative requirements are met, the letter may not be scheduled.

From Laurel - Back to New Orleans

Thanks to the hard working folk of Gleann Abhann, this year's Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium is going to happen in New Orleans after all, on June 16-18, 2006. The hotel is repaired, a health certificate has been issued and we will see you there. To find more information visit the event web site via http://www.sca.org/heraldry/laurel/kwhs/ . I would remind the principal heralds that I strongly recommend you attend this year, if at all possible.

Rumors aside, as yet I have not received any bids for the 2007 Symposium. Remember that these are due by the end of May 2006, and plan accordingly.

From Laurel - We're the Laurel Office and We're Here to Help You

If you are planning on having a Kingdom Heraldic Symposium this year, this is a reminder that you too can have Laurel, Wreath and/or Pelican attend your event. This can involve a road show with armory and names decisions being made, classes can be taught, we can hold question and answer sessions. All that we ask is that the hosting Kingdom split the travel costs with the Laurel Office, and plan well in advance to facilitate scheduling. So think it over, consider in what areas you think your Kingdoms could use a heraldic boost, and let us know.

From Laurel - Remember the Roster and Keep It Updated

The College of Arms Roster is only as useful as the currency of its information. If you've changed your mailing address, e-mail, name, heraldic title or any other relevant data, notify me as soon as you can. An updated roster is sent every month to the principal heralds and submission heralds, but any member of the CoA can have a current copy of the roster at any time, on request to Laurel.

Send What to Whom

For all Letters of Intent, Comment, Response, Correction, et cetera, send one paper copy directly to each of the Sovereigns of Arms, Laurel, Pelican and Wreath at their mailing addresses as shown on the College of Arms Roster.

Send Laurel office copies of all submissions-related paper, including

to the SCA College of Arms, PO Box 31755, Billings, MT 59107-1755.

Send the required electronic copies of all submissions-related files to submissions@sca.org. This applies to all LoIs, LoCs, LoRs, et cetera.

Cheques or money orders for submissions, payable to "SCA Inc.-College of Arms" are to be sent directly to the Society Chancellor of the Exchequer, who is temporarily acting as Laurel's chancellor of the exchequer, at Laurel Chancellor of Exchequer, 4N400 Church Rd, Bensenville, IL 60106-2928.

Send roster changes and corrections to Laurel. College of Arms members may also request a copy of the current roster from Laurel.

For a paper copy of a LoAR, please contact Laurel, at the address above. The cost for one LoAR is $3. Please make all checks or money orders payable to "SCA Inc.-College of Arms". For subscriptions to the electronic copy of the LoAR, please contact Laurel at herald@sca.org. The electronic copy is available free of charge.

For all administrative matters, or for questions about whom to send to, please contact Laurel.

Pray know that I remain,

In service,

Elisabeth de Rossignol
Laurel Principal Queen of Arms
