Howdy! The database has been updated to include the August 2019 LoAR. There were changes to my.cat this month: A new featureset has been added that applies only to STAR. Its values are: sun mullet estoile SUN is no longer a valid heading ESTOILE is no longer a valid heading The following cross references have been added or updated: bag of madder - see pillow caldera - see cauldron caldera gringolada - see cauldron and reptile, snake chive flower - see flower, multifloreted escroll - see book estoile - see mullet field division, party of six - see field division, other flower, chive - see flower, multifloreted ray of the sun - see sun, demi roasting spit - see tool, other sun - see mullet sun, whole - see mullet sun, whole, charged - see mullet, charged sun, whole, eclipsed - see mullet, charged http://oanda.sca.org/dbdiffs/dbdiffs_1908.txt lists the added, changed, and deleted records in the database. There is an RSS feed of LoARs at feed://heraldry.sca.org/loar/loar.rss that is updated daily. The merging of SUN, ESTOILE, and STAR has happened. ESTOILE and SUN are no longer valid headings. Everything under STAR has a new feature from the "star_type" featureset. The values are "sun", "mullet", and "estoile". Mullets of 8 or more points will have two descriptions -- one STAR:sun and the other STAR:mullet. Suns will have "of 8 or more" added to count the points. Compass stars will have "of 8" added to count the points. Estoiles will still not have a point count, as there are the odd non-6 estoiles.
