Howdy! The database has been updated to include the April 2023 LoAR. You can download it at http://oanda.sca.org/oanda.db.txt There have been no changes to my.cat. The application of the new field and headorientation feature sets is under way. The first twenty-eight thousand pieces of registered armory have been touched. That gets into the Ms. Some other fluffing involving fimbriation and general eyeball checks have happened along the way. It will probably take several months to get through the nearly 60,000 pieces, but it's manageable. The "field" feature set lets you specify the nature of the field division (solid, or divided X-wise for various values of X) in ways that are worth an SC now. Its use now will filter out some false positives, in about 40% of the candidates. It's a start. The "headorientation" feature lets you specify "facing dexter", "facing sinister", or "facing affronty". Armory with heads facing in different directions in the same charge group will not have this feature applied. There is an RSS feed of LoARs at feed://heraldry.sca.org/loar/loar.rss that is updated daily. This document is also available at http://heraldry.sca.org/loar/2023/04/23-04rn.txt yours, Herveus
