April 1992

Unto the members of the College of Arms does Da'ud ibn Auda, Laurel King of Arms send Greetings!

My Lords and Ladies,

Herein are corrections to various Letters of Acceptances and Returns.

Corrections to the March 1992 LoAR

AN TIR

Branwen of Barnhamwood. Name.

This was accidentally listed as a return (with the returned device). In fact, the name was registered.

ATENVELDT

Isabel la Noire. Badge.

This registration was listed under "Isabelle Le Noire", but the above form is the registered form of the client's name.

ATLANTIA

Ansgar Otkelsson. Badge.

The LoI, and the client's forms, had spelled the given Asgar, but the above form is the one actually registered.

CAID

Uilliam of Reisling. Device. Or, a stag rampant, a bordure engrailed sable.

This was accidentally registered under his submitted name of Abaris Damh Feidh Ciar, which had been returned on the January 1992 LoAR.

Uilliam of Reisling. Badge. [Fieldless] Six arrows fretted in saltire sable.

This was accidentally registered under his submitted name of Abaris Damh Feidh Ciar, which had been returned on the January 1992 LoAR.

Uilliam of Reisling. Badge. [Fieldless] Six arrows fretted in saltire Or.

This was accidentally registered under his submitted name of Abaris Damh Feidh Ciar, which had been returned on the January 1992 LoAR.

Corrections to the February 1992 LoAR

CAID

Antonius Tesel. Name.

This was accidentally listed in the LoAR as Antonious.

TRIMARIS

Elizabeth Stafford Parr Pembroke. Device. Argent, five bars sable, a martlet volant and an orle of martlets azure.

The LoAR typoed the tincture of the bars as argent.

Corrections to the January 1992 LoAR

ATLANTIA

Stephen of Abbey Blackrose. Badge. Gules, a cracked goblet bendwise sinister and a bordure argent.

The goblet is bendwise sinister, not bend sinisterwise as stated in the LoAR.

Corrections to the December 1991 LoAR

OUTLANDS

Bréanainn O Coinghiolláin. Name.

The LoAR misspelled the given as Bréannainn.

Mairane Teicher von Tegernsee. Name.

The LoAR put one too many "n"s in the given here, too.

Corrections to the November 1991 LoAR

ANSTEORRA

Damaris of Greenhill. Device. Azure, three double-bitted axes in pall inverted, hafts to center, within a bordure Or.

The blazon in the LoAR mentioned the handles as being to center twice.

ATENVELDT

Elizabeth of Twin Moons. Holding name.

The group name is Twin Moons, not Moon as given in the LoAR.

ATLANTIA

Álvaro Rodrigo de León. Device. Quarterly vert and argent, a goblet Or between and maintained by two lions sejant erect reguardant respectant sable.

The fact that the lions are reguardant was accidentally dropped in the LoAR.

Morwenna of Caer Mear. Name.

The LoAR mistakenly called this a "holding name". This is the submitted, and registered, name.

MIDDLE

Martín de Suero y Tresguerras. Badge.

Though listed correctly with the registration of the name and device, here Suero was mistakenly spelled Suera.

OUTLANDS

Cassandra la Sable. Badge. Argent, semy of snowflakes sable, a hawk striking to sinister gules.

In the return of this badge, the hawk was mistakenly blazoned as "proper". It is gules, and thus in conflict with Malcolm mac Ruairidh of Blackoak, as cited.
