originally scheduled on this Cover Letter. Date of mailing of
the LoI, date of receipt of the Laurel packet, or other factors
may delay consideration of certain Letters of Intent.
Additionally, not all Letters of Intent received have been
scheduled because the administrative requirements (receipt of the
forms packet, receipt of the necessary fees, etc.) have not yet
been met.
On Matters for Discussion
Pelican and I would like to make something clear to the CoA.
There are very few issues, rules changes, ideas for changing the
College, etc., that we are not willing to discuss. However, just
because something appears for discussion by the College either
from a LoAR cover letter or on a Palimpsest letter, does not mean
Laurel and/or Pelican support the idea. Nor does it mean that we
do not support the idea. The only thing that it means is that we
are willing to have the discussion take place.
Laurel Meetings
Laurel would like to take this opportunity to remind the College
that if they will be in the area, they are welcome (call in
advance, please) to come to Laurel meeting. Laurel has the space
to put up people, and if the house is full, has many friends in
the area who would be willing to put you up.
